Adapun delapan kategori part of speech yang lain adalah nouns, pronouns, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction, interjection. Adapun uraiannya antara lain sebagai berikut. 

Adapun beberapa jenis pronoun dan contohnya.
1. Personal pronouns: I, you, he, she, it, we, dan they
Contoh penggunaanya seperti pada she is beautiful, you are a good boy.
2. Possessive pronouns: mine, yours, hers, his, its,theirs, ours, your.
Contoh penggunannya pada part of speech seperti, this cat is mine, time is yours.
3. Reflexive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves. 
Contoh penggunaannya, Put the flowers by yourself!.

Adapun delapan kategori part of speech yang lain adalah nouns, pronouns, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction, interjection. Uraiannya antara lain sebagai berikut. 

1. action verbs : run, jump, sing, write, dance, eat, drink
2. linking verbs: am, is, are, was, were, appear, seem, become, look, feel, taste, smell
3. helping verbs: could, can, will, would, shall, may, might, has, had, do, does, did, must, should.
4. modal verbs: will, would, shall, should, can, could, may, must, might
5. phrasal verbs: turn on, look up, give in
6. infinitive verbs: to eat, t study, to run
7. gerunds : eating, studying, running

Determiners dan articles digunakan sebagai kata penjelas yang berfungsi untuk menjelaskan, mengidentifikasi, atau memodifikasi kata benda. Beberapa contoh articles adalah a, an, the, sedangkan beberapa contoh determiners adalah this, that, these, those, much, what, which, enough, dan lain sebagainya.
