Pada bagian ini Mamikos akan memberikan penjelasan tentang jenis recount text yang juga sudah disertai dengan masing-masing contohnya.

1. Personal Recount Text (Recount Pribadi)

Jenis recount text bahasa Inggris ini adalah yang paling sederhana. Biasanya menceritakan pengalaman pribadi penulis dan menggunakan bahasa naratif yang mengungkapkan detail pribadi maupun emosi.

Contohnya termasuk cerita liburan, kejadian lucu yang terjadi di sekolah, atau pengalaman penting dalam hidup seseorang.

Title: Exciting Beach Vacation

Orientation

Last July, my family and I had an amazing vacation at the beach. We were eagerly looking forward to this vacation as it was the perfect time to relax and enjoy the sunny weather.

Sequence of Events

On the first day, we arrived at the beach and immediately rented a villa right by the shore. After settling our belongings, we headed straight to the beach. The weather was so sunny, and the sea water was crystal clear. We spent hours playing in the water, sunbathing on the beach, and exploring the surroundings.

On the second day, we rented a boat for snorkeling near the coral reef. It was an incredible experience as we got to see various colorful fish and beautiful coral reefs underwater. We also stopped at a small island in the middle of the sea for a picnic and sandcastle building.

The last day of our vacation was spent playing at the famous water recreation center near the beach. We enjoyed various water games like slides and water ball. It was such a fun-filled moment for all of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Reorientation

Although the vacation came to an end, the beautiful memories at the beach will always be etched in our minds. This vacation not only gave us time to relax and have fun with family but also provided us with the opportunity to create stronger bonds with each other.
